Christmas with Arjowiggins

Early in the spring, as I started gathering ideas for the new Christmas collection, I soon realized I did not want to repropose rough-looking recycled papers; in fact I felt I was looking for something more glamorous instead and when Victor Cavazzoni submitted his first sketches it was immediately clear to me I was heading in the right direction. Victor had set his Santa scenes using unusual pale shades of green which naturally called for a bright paper surface, and as far as the other challenging elements are concerned - dark starry skies and the abundance of snow - they could only benefit from being printed on a slightly sparkling paper.

Curious Metallics by Arjowiggins was the perfect choice: slightly iridescent as it is, it has brought light and elegance to Victor's unique portraits of Santa.

Neddless to say, this beautiful paper has added a touch of elegance also to the cards illustrated by Marta Pantaleo and Beatrice Cerocchi making them even more precious.
